Vicente N. Garcia, Jr., 70, passed away on Monday, April 8, 2024, after a short illness. He was born on June 21, 1953, to Vicente, Sr. and Longina Narvaez Garcia. Vicente had great faith. He was a member at Our Lady of Guadalupe Church and he was a man of much prayer. He loved God  and  had big devotion to Our Blessed Mother Mary. Vicente was a jokester. He assigned a nickname to many nieces and nephews. He was so funny and has left so many memories in all that knew him. He was loved so much and will be missed so  much more. Vicente worked as a butcher alongside his Dad for Super S in Taft., then H & K Construction, and then became a commercial plumber for Gentry Plumbing where he retired. Vicente is preceded in death by his parents, Vicente and Longina Garcia, his brother-in-law, Carlos J. Vasquez, his in-laws, Eusebio and Maria Botello, his brother-in-laws, Johnny Botello and Tony Botello and sister-in-law, Dorann B. Garcia. Vicente is survived by his wife of 37 years, Lupe Botello Garca. They had three children, Vicente Garcia, III, Kina Garcia (P J  Hernandez) and James Garcia, six siblings, Maria  Hilaria  (Ruben) Ramirez, Cristela (David) Landin, Rose Ann Vasquez, Jose Luis Garcia and Lupe  (Joe) Moreno, all of Sinton, Oscar (Victoria) Garcia of Corpus Christi and numerous beloved nieces, nephews and adopted grandchildren.  Pallbearers will be Gabriel Moreno, Jonathan De Leon, Ricky Contreras, Jeff Perez, Mark Moreno, and C J Vasquez,  honorary pallbearers will be Julian Suarez and Frank Rios, Jr. A visitation will be held on Friday, April 12,2024, at Ritchea-Gonzales Funeral Home Chapel from 2 PM to 9 PM with a holy rosary being recited at 7 PM. Funeral mass be celebrated at 11 A M  Saturday. April 13, 2024 at Our Lady of Guadalupe Catholic Church in Sinton with Father Glen Mullan as celebrant. Interment will follow at Eternal Rest Cemetery in Sinton.
