Redolfo  A. " Rudy " Rodriguez, 62,  loving son, brother, uncle and friend went to be with the Lord on Wednesday, June 12, 2024. Rudy was a lifelong resident of this area and loved all kinds of sports but especially the Houston Astros and the Dallas Cowboys. He enjoyed his job as a school bus driver having worked for Gregory-Portland ISD and Sinton ISD. He was preceded in death by his mother, Ernestina Rodriguez. He is survived by his loving family, his father, Frank Rodriguez of Sinton, his sisters, Margie (Donald) Mercier of Sinton and Betty  (Leo) Mendez of Corpus Christi, his niece, Carolyn Mercier of Conroe and his nephew, Andrew Mercier of Oxnard, California. A visitation will be held on Friday, June 14, 2024, from 5 PM to 9 PM with a holy rosary being recited at 7 PM at Ritchea-Gonzales Funeral Home Chapel. Funeral mass will be celebrated at 10 AM Saturday, June 15, 2024, at Sacred Heart Catholic Church in Sinton with Father Yul Ibay as celebrant. Interment will follow at Eternal Rest Cemetery in Sinton.
