December 18, 1945 – June 28, 2024

Rodolfo Sanchez, 78 was a loving husband, father, grandfather and brother. He was born on December 18, 1945 to Primitivo Sanchez and Rita Sanchez. He attended Miller High School.

Rodolfo is preceded in death by his parents, his wife, Felicitas Barrera Sanchez and his son, Rodolfo Ramos Sanchez Jr. Rodolfo retired from Corpus Christi Army Depot for more than 30 years of employment. Rodolfo served in the US Navy with honorable discharge. He was a soldier for the Texas Natural Guard for more than 10 years. Rodolfo enjoyed spending time with family. His hobbies included hunting, woodwork, upholstery, fishing and his gun collection. Rodolfo is survived by children: Sonia Longoria (Pilar), Michael Galvan (Lilly), Hector Barrera (Petra), Belinda Flores, Lorraine Becknauld, Sandra Garrett; grandchildren; Efrain Gomez III, Jordan Longoria, Chayanne Longoria (EJ), Sierra Longoria; sisters and brothers: Frances Najera (Marty), Rita Botello, Johnny Sanchez (Laura), Primitivo Sanchez (Anna); and 13 nephews and nieces. He will be missed for his generosity and kind heart.

A visitation will be held on Saturday, July 6, 2024 at Our Lady of Guadalupe Catholic Church in Edroy from 8:30 a.m. to 9:30 a.m. with a holy rosary being recited at 9:30 a.m.  The funeral mass will be celebrated at 10 a.m. following the rosary with Father George as celebrant.  The interment will follow at the Edroy Cemetery in Edroy.
