Roberto Ceballos Jr., 59, loving husband, father, son, grandfather, brother, uncle, and friend went to heaven peacefully surrounded by his family on Wednesday, June 19, 2024. Roberto was born September 12, 1964 to Roberto and Elida Ceballos. He grew up in Calallen, Texas where he was a graduate of Calallen High School, Class of ‘83. He currently resided in Odem, Texas. He was employed with Brand Safeway for 30 plus years. When he wasn’t working to support his family, Roberto’s life revolved around his family whom he loved to spend time with, enjoyed golfing, going to Fiesta Texas, and his yearly vacation trip to the Frio River. He was also a lifelong volunteer of Odem Sacred Heart Church and St. Mary’s Mission in Calallen. He absolutely loved playing guitar and singing at church before the lord. He will be missed tremendously by his family as he leaves behind numerous memories filled with love, laughter, and good times. He is preceded in death by his father: Roberto Lopez Ceballos Sr.; maternal grandparents: Benito Sr. and Celestina Ramirez; paternal grandparents: Jacinto and Elena Ceballos; and father in law: Casimiro “Sonny” Bargas Jr. He is survived by his loving wife: Jeanette Ceballos; his sons: Chris (Marissa) Ceballos, Dylan (Ashley) Ceballos, and Joshua (Yasmeen) Ceballos; his granddaughters: Mindy, Addison, and Kinsley Ceballos; his mother Elida Ceballos; his brother: Daniel (Maria Elena) Ceballos; his sister: Sara Ceballos; mother in law: Elvia Bargas; and numerous aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, brother in laws, sister in laws, and cousins. Pallbearers: Javier Lopez, Sonny Bargas, Demetrio Lopez, Mike Navarre, Daniel Ceballos Sr., David Rodriguez; Honorary Pallbearer: Jesse Aguirre.

 

Visitation will be on Friday, June 21, 2024, at Ritchea-Gonzales Funeral Home in Sinton from 1 PM to 5 PM and then continue from 6 PM to 8:30 PM at Sacred Heart Catholic Church in Odem (401 W. Willis, Odem, Tx, 78370) with a rosary being recited at 7 PM. Funeral mass will be celebrated on Saturday, June 22, 2024, at 10 AM at Sacred Heart Catholic Church in Odem (401 W. Willis) with Father George as celebrant. Interment will follow in San Pedro Cemetery in Odem.
