Maria Doria Quintero, 79, loving mother, grandmother, sister, and friend passed away Wednesday, May 29, 2024. Maria was a kind person who always did for others before she did for herself. She is preceded in death by her parents, Leobardo and Anita Lopez Doria, her husband, Jorge Quintero, her son, George Anthony

Quintero, her stepdaughter, Irma Esquivel Garza, her brothers, Juan Doria, Frank Doria and Jose Doria. She is survived by her loving family, her daughters, Ruby Ann Garza (Allan) Fernandez of Binghamton, New York, Lucresia Quintero (Eric Lira) and Rose Quintero (Ben Garcia) of Corpus Christi, her stepdaughters, Francisca Quintero of Odem and Mary Lou Longoria of  Kingsville, her stepsons, Ruben (Alice) Quintero of Sinton, Jorge Quintero, Jr. of Houston and  Oscar Quintero of Corpus Christi, her brothers, Juan Gomez of Odem, Pablo (Patsy) Doria of Alice, Leobardo (Lupe) Doria of Sinton, Jesus (Trine)  Doria, Antonio (Yolanda) Doria, Guadalupe (Aurora) Doria, Oracio (Sylvia) Doria and  Martin (Azeneth)  Doria of Odem, her sisters, Luz Doria, Ofelia (Rosendo) Gomez, Norma Doria and Elena Doria of Sinton, her sisters-in-law, Criselda Doria of Sinton, Linda Doria and Dora Doria of Odem, her grandchildren, Deznaryah Quintero, John Anthony Casanova, Kristian Rios, Jamie Rios, and Adelina Quintero, her great grandson, Zay Amari Sanchez, numerous nieces, nephews, cousins and friends. A visitation will be held on Tuesday, June 4, 2024, from 2 PM to 9 PM with a holy rosary being recited at 7 PM at Ritchea-Gonzales Funeral Home Chapel. Funeral mass will be celebrated at 10 AM Wednesday, June 5, 2024, at Sacred Heart Catholic Church in Odem with Father George as celebrant. Interment will follow at San Pedro Cemetery in Odem.
