Franklin "Frank" Elizardo

Franklin “Frank” Elizardo, a beloved son, brother, companion, stepfather, and grandpa, passed away on March 5, 2024, leaving behind cherished memories and a legacy of laughter. Frank's vibrant spirit and love for Batman were infectious, bringing joy to all who knew him. His playful nature and endless jokes endeared him to many, leaving an indelible mark on their hearts. Frank is reunited in heaven with his grandparents, Joe and Lala Martinez, and Franciso and Juanita Elizardo, where he will continue to watch over his loved ones. He is survived by his devoted parents, Abel and Vickie Elizardo of Odem, TX, his siblings Roland Elizardo and Bettie Jo Campos of Corpus Christi, Felicia and Alex Lopez of Odem, TX, and Valerie and Roxanne Elizardo of Dallas, TX, his loving companion, Sandy Hernandez of Corpus Christi, TX, and his stepchildren Gabby, Crystal, and Rj Garcia will forever cherish his memory. In addition to his immediate family, Frank leaves behind three nieces, one nephew, four great nephews and nieces, and three beloved grandchildren. His presence will be deeply missed, but his laughter and spirit will live on in the hearts of all who knew him. A visitation will be held on Friday, March 8, 2024, from 2 PM to 9 PM with a holy rosary being recited at 7 PM at Ritchea-Gonales Funeral Home Chapel. Visitation will be held on Saturday, March 9, 2024, from 9 PM to 1:30 PM at Ritchea-Gonzales Funeral Home Chapel. Funeral mass will be celebrated at 2:00 PM Saturday, March 9, 2024, at Sacred Heart Catholic Church in Odem with Father George and Father Pete Elizardo as celebrants. Interment will follow at San Pedro Cemetery in Odem.
