Domingo G. Perez, 85, of Taft, loving father, grandfather, great grandfather, brother and friend passed away on Saturday, September 28, 2024. Domingo was a self-taught carpenter, a career he had all his life. He also was the owner of Perez Construction Company. He enjoyed spending time with his family and gambling. He was preceded in death by his wife, Celestina Perez, his parents, Guadalupe and Adelaida Perez, his siblings, Celia Perez, Amelia Gomez, Adelia Trevino, Cristobal Perez and Enrique Galvez. He is survived by his loving family, his sons, Domingo Perez, Jr. of Baytown and Guadalupe Perez of Mount Belvieu, his daughters, Patricia Perez of San Antonio and Mary Lou Stansel of Taft, his brothers, Augustine Perez, Jose Perez, Oscar Perez and Juan Perez, his sisters, Alicia Ramos, Elida Osornio, Abelia Murataya, Lupita Andreas, Sylvia (Tony)  Fuentes, Maria (Adolfo) Gonzalez and Susana Perez, ten grandchildren and eleven great grandchildren. A visitation will be held on Tuesday, October 1, 2024 from 4 PM to 9 PM with a holy rosary being recited at 7 PM at Ritchea-Gonzales Funeral Home. Funeral mass will  be celebrated at 10 AM Wednesday, October 2, 2024 at Holy Family Catholic Church in Taft. Interment will follow at Eternal Rest Cemetery in Sinton.
