Delia Garcia, 77, loving wife, mother, grandmother, sister and friend went to be with the Lord on Thursday, February 29, 2024. Delia had a great sense of humor and always had a smile on her face. She was always doing for others. She loved to sew and shop online. She is survived by her loving family, her husband, Adolfo Garcia of Odem, her sons, Albert (Teodora) Garcia of Odem and Jaime (Derek Bowling) of  Atlanta, Georgia, her daughters, Sylvia Garcia of Odem, Yolanda  (Peter Martinez) Martinez of Petronila, Corina (Ernest Ramirez) Garcia of Corpus Christi, Dahlia (Javier Garza) Garza of Lubbock and Sunshine (Arturo Mendez) Garcia of Austin, her brothers, Rene Gomez of Sinton and Roy Gomez of Corpus Christi, her sisters, Anita Salinas of Levelland, Tx and Alicia Garza of Corpus Christi, 18 grandchildren and 4 great grandchildren. Visitation will be held on Sunday, March 3, 2024, from 2 PM to 9 PM with a rosary being recited at 7 PM, at Ritchea-Gonzales Funeral Home Chapel. Funeral mass will be celebrated at 10 AM Saturday, March 4, 2024, at Sacred Heart Catholic Church in Odem with Father George as celebrant. Interment will follow at San Pedro Cemetery in Odem.
