Alfred Urquizo, born October 8, 1949, 74 years old of Mathis, Texas went to be with our Lord Jesus Christ on Friday, May 31, 2024.  He was preceded in death by his parents, Enrique Urquizo and Juanita B. Urquizo, his sisters, Sylvia Urquizo and Melissa Urquizo. Alfred is survived by his loving family, daughter, Daisy Urquizo (Cipriano), son, Ross Urquizo (Josie) and stepson, Matthew Malone (Adrienne), two grandsons, Alexander Urquizo and Isaiah Urquizo, his sisters, Elodia Urquizo and Norma Urquizo, his brothers, Abelardo Urquizo and Enrique Urquizo, Jr., numerous nieces and nephews. A visitation will be held on Saturday, July 13, 2024, from 3 PM to 5 PM at Ritchea-Gonzales Funeral Home.

 Crossing Over

Oh, please don't feel guilty it was my time to go.

I see you are still feeling sad and the tears just

seem to flow. we all come to earth for our lifetime,

and for some it's not may years. I don't want you to keep 

crying, you are shedding so many tears. I haven't

really left you even though it may seem so, I have

gone to my heavenly home, and I'm closer to you

than you know. Just believe that when you say my 

name I'm standing next to you. I know you long to

see me, but there's nothing I can do, I'll still send

you messages and hope you understand, that when

it's your turn to " cross over ", I'll be there to take 

your hand.
